cruising to help the bruising

today was one of those days started off with the raddest dream about the future and travel then realised how much i actually needed to jump the ocean. sucks seems so far away and hard to obtain so that was pretty depressing, so after a day of wallowing i got picked up and went for a cruise around pretty much all of melbourne and nothing even came close to getting the lens cap off untill after like a thousand streets and some strange going round in circles we turned a corner and bingo DISCO SHIT i mean come on i couldnt of planned it better if i tried. it was really one of those things that made me so stoked about trying to get at least one shot done a day because when i did god damn it was awesome and i forgot about all my depressing thoughts and cha ching im back.

above is my favourite of the day, its been a rad day had good food with good company and then went off for an adventure around the area and found some of the most bizzare graffitti, the more i take photos of it the more curious i get about the motivtions of the people who create it. I then witnessed an amazing sunset ha and managed to diy a filter thanks to the shades i was wearing!! it was awesome when the familiar throws a firecracker in the works just for good measure.

lightning does strike twice : earbats

i finally got a lightning shot after all the time ive been photographing i have never got a photo of lightning, finally wont be the last!

the next day we had to leave to get back to melbourne i had to do a shoot for the clothing company ear bats, it was a chill shoot in my makeshift studio at home heres a sneak peak.

the day after earbats was spent with laura hung over after celebrating at a friends 21st party we were pretty anti social and made the most of the open bar it was a hawian party which meant a lot of hula girls,coconuts and bay watch style life savers and bad hawiain shirts the best outfit though went to diana who came as a hawian pizza such a rad costume!!! anyway ive never seen someone make hungover seem so damn good. if i looked this good hungover id never stop drinking!

australia day

this made my australia day proberly the least australia day ive ever had. we had a small barbie but it lacked the usual suspects slip and slide and slabs of beer but it made up for it in relaxation. these signs were sweet as the kids have been busy made me feel like i needed to bust out the derwents or go to do something rediculous like get a lame southern cross tatto but instead of stars get bogans

the water was freezing but refreshing as hell we sat back and watched the storm clouds roll in and later that night we watched the lightning strike and i finaly got a lightning shot yeah!!! so stoked its so hard to get a shot of one i want to keep trying to get some awesome ones but this was a first.

2nd day down and too many to choose from

so i started not knowing where this project would go which is the way i like it , this time it took me down to phillip island for australia day weekend , couldnt pick just one because me my mood changed so many times during this trip so heres a couple with our powers combined

finally summer started

decided to start a new project as simple as it gets take one photo a day and put it up here keep those creative juices flowing im pretty stoked about how the first day started out ! (johnsonian)

sometimes i really wonder what peoples intentions are when they are putting up graffitti something makes me think this guy was coming home from a rave. i wonder if anyone has acutually just busted out the running man due to this being here in some sort of uncontrolable fit of graffitti obediance,
